James Hawkins

PRESIDENT

James Hawkins serves as the President of JHM Homes of Honor, where he provides the vision and strategic leadership for the organization's mission to serve veterans, senior citizens, and families in need through safe, quality home repairs and accessibility improvements.

With years of experience leading nonprofit and ministry organizations, James is committed to building organizations that operate with integrity, accountability, and sound governance.

As Senior Pastor of The Faith Place, he understands that lasting impact begins with faithful stewardship, responsible leadership, and a commitment to serving others with compassion.

At JHM Homes of Honor, James works alongside community partners, volunteers, contractors, churches, and supporters to ensure every resource is used wisely and every family is treated with dignity and respect. His passion is to build an organization that honors those who have served by restoring homes, strengthening communities, and offering hope through acts of service.

James believes that when a nonprofit remains faithful to its mission, serves with excellence, and leads with integrity, lives are transformed and communities grow stronger - one home, one family, and one act of kindness at a time.

David Lee Griffin

VICE PRESIDENT

(OVERSEEING COMMUNITY OUTREACH)

David L. Griffin serves as the Vice President of JHM Homes of Honor, where he oversees the organization's community outreach efforts. He is dedicated to improving the lives of veterans and senior citizens by helping provide safe, quality home repairs and accessibility improvements.

With more than 40 years of experience in the construction industry, David has built a career based on hard work, craftsmanship, and service. His experience extends far beyond painting and includes full residential remodeling, roofing, carpentry, concrete, drywall, stucco repair, flooring, cabinet refinishing and installation, home restoration, accessibility modifications, and a wide range of interior and exterior construction services. This broad background gives him a practical understanding of the challenges homeowners face and the importance of quality workmanship.

David's passion for serving veterans is deeply personal. His late father, Raymond Lee Griffin, proudly served our country as a veteran. His father's service instilled in David a deep respect for the sacrifices made by America's military men and women and inspired his commitment to giving back to those who have served.

At JHM Homes of Honor, David focuses on building relationships with communities, businesses, contractors, and supporters to ensure veterans and senior citizens receive the assistance they need. He believes every person deserves a safe, secure, and well-maintained home and is committed to treating every family with dignity, respect, and compassion.

David's vision is to help build JHM Homes of Honor into a nationally recognized nonprofit organization that transforms lives, strengthens communities, and honors those who have served by delivering hope—one home, one family, and one act of kindness at a time.
